About RL Blaisdell
RL (Randy) Blaisdell was born and raised in the backwoods of the Pacific Northwest. Growing up books were his window on life. As an adult, he served twenty-six years as an Air Force officer in posts around the world. In his second career, he worked at a Research and Development Center focusing on cybersecurity for critical systems. Today, in addition to writing, Blaisdell consults on cybersecurity and information technology for customers around the country.
Randy, his wife Beth, dogs Kindle and Kade, and cat Pepper live in the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area east of Vancouver, Washington. You’re likely to find Randy writing in unlikely places. He’s equally at home writing on airplanes, in elevators, or alongside the trails near his home, wherever inspiration strikes.
When Randy sought advice on authoring his first book, he was told “write what you know.” And, so...his first book, Cyber Seventy-Seven, brings together cyber, high-end information technology, sailing, travel, food, and a lovable four-legged companion named Kindle. Cyber Seventy-Seven was joined by Cyber Dead or Alive (the prequel) in June 2019 and the sequel, Cyber Retribution in October 2020.
November 2018 - June 2019 - October 2020
The KindleKat Series is the first of what we hope will be many in RL Blaisdell's collections. It explores the lives of husband and wife team, Blaze and Carla Heaton and their human and four legged crew on a wild series of adventures. Equal parts cyber, sailing, and romantic adventure it pits our protagonists against threats from both human and natural sources. Storms, corrupt politicians, the Russian Mafia, the Israeli Mossad, and a cast of terrorists pose a never-ending threat to the world and the lives of the Heatons and those they love.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Cyber Dead or Alive -Love a thriller? Love a chase? Love boats? "Cyber Dead or Alive" might be your cup of tea. It has it all. There are FBI agents, international spies, the Russian mafia, Russian hackers and Artificial Intelligence in this ambitious effort by RL Blaisdell. There are just so many good things about Cyber or Alive." Love the ideas.
Cyber Seventy-Seven - Cyber counter-terror at its best!! Easy to read, even the complicated parts. Characters are likable and well developed. I highly recommend this book to others. 5 out of 5 stars.
Cyber Dead or Alive - This was one book that I could not put down. Imagine going on the run from the US government!! This book is a mix of the deepest conspiracy theory, plus all the action and fun you could ask for. A hint of romance, but nothing steamy. If you're looking for a thriller that will not disappoint, I highly suggest this one. Characters are well-drawn, pace is just right, plot is plausible...I loved it!
